Look, I didn’t start my business because I had some grand vision of changing the world. I started it because I was tired of being broke, exhausted, and stuck in a cycle where no matter how much I worked, I never seemed to get ahead.
As a kid, I thought being a psychologist meant I could tell people what to do (dream job, right?). But then I realized people don’t actually need more orders—they need someone to help them figure out their own next move. That’s when I got into coaching.
But let me back up a little. At the time, I was married (now divorced), raising four kids (three at home, one in college), and working full-time plus a part-time job plus finishing grad school. I was running on caffeine, stress, and the faint hope that tax season would save me.
Spoiler: It did not.
I remember sitting at my computer, DIY-ing my taxes, thinking I was finally about to catch a break. Instead, I watched as all my hard work pushed me into a new tax bracket, wiping out my refund and leaving me just barely breaking even. The math was mathing, and it was telling me I needed a new plan.
Within a month, I started my business.
Now, my career path has been anything but traditional. I didn’t have the luxury of "finding my passion"—I had mouths to feed and bills to pay. So I took jobs that paid the most, worked crazy hours, and kept things moving. But when I started my business, I realized something: I didn’t just want money. I wanted a life—one where I could actually be there for my kids, feel good about my work, and not just survive, but thrive.
How I Work (And Why My Clients Love It)
Because I’ve lived through financial struggle, I don’t believe in wasting time or money—mine or yours. Everything I do is built to be efficient and effective. No fluff, no dragging things out just to bill more hours. If it won’t move the needle, we’re not doing it.
Because I’ve been undervalued in jobs before, I’m obsessed with making sure my clients know their worth—and actually get paid for it.
Because I’m a Christian, I do business with integrity. Period. No shady tactics, no overpromising, no gimmicks.
What I Do For My Clients
Most people think if they feel stuck, they need some massive, dramatic change—quit their job, move to Bali, shave their heads. But the truth? Small, strategic shifts are what actually change your life. I help my clients choose the right changes and have the courage to see them through.
My work is all about helping people create a high-quality life—one where financial security, professional success, and personal fulfillment all fit together (without you having to lose your mind in the process). My clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, undersupported, and underpaid. They leave with a plan, clarity, and actual results.
Let’s Be Real
You don’t have to burn yourself out to be successful. You don’t have to suffer for your dreams. And there is no mistake so big in your life or business that it can’t be fixed.
I’ve built a six-figure corporate consulting practice, landed a book deal, and launched an award-winning podcast—all while keeping my sanity (mostly) intact. And now? I help other women do the same.
Talk to you soon!
